New information about the problem has
just come to us via users group discussions. Specifically, the redirect during
checkout is caused by a problem with Internet Explorer.
Unfortunately, Microsoft has not yet
issued the fix to this problem as an automatic Windows update. This means that
the fix available at the above URL is one which will require users to manually
install it. While it is unclear exactly when the fix will be made available in
an automatic update, it's at least more likely that it will when a new service
pack update is released.
In the mean time, it is our advice to
our customers that they install the Microsoft Internet Explorer update if they
are experiencing the effects of this problem during the checkout sequence.
