Porch Plan Modification Instructions

1.  Order the Porch Plan you want modified.
     Order your Porch Plan online, safely and securely, at The Decks USA Store      

2.  Print out the Porch Plan you wish to modify from our Porch Plans Section

     or from the Decks USA Deck Designs CD-ROM  

  Deck Designs™  Version 4.0 with over 360 deck designs on CD-ROM!.

3.  After placing your order: Sketch the changes on the porch floor plan, along with any notes.
     FAX it to us at: (330) 726-5542.

     Include the following information with your FAX:

4 Digit INVOICE Porch Plan Order Number from Online Store Receipt
Your: Name, Address, City, State, Zip
         Daytime telephone number
         Your FAX number
           E-mail address if applicable

NOTE:  Please be sure to include your Door to Ground Measurement (T.O.D. top of deck)

4. After receiving and processing your order:

Your porch plan project will be sent to our Design and Drafting Department.

When your drawings are finished, for quality control and to ensure your satisfaction, you will receive by FAX, rendered preliminary drawings in Floor Plan, 3-D, and Elevation Views for your review and approval of the changes.  (We offer an Online Viewing and Printing Option if a FAX machine is unavailable to you).  Currently, the expected draw time is within 7-21 days after you place your order*.  If time is of the essence; a 5-10 Day RUSH SERVICE is available.

5.     Upon your porch design approval, we will begin preparing the porch plan construction package.
        Which includes, but is not limited to: The Complete Construction Package, Stair Guide Kit, Material Order List and Material Takeoff.

The current Porch Plan Modification Fee is FREE with purchase of a Porch Plan $149.95** 
Price includes up to two (2) preliminary drawings.  Any further preliminary drawings are billed out at $30.00 per preliminary drawing.  EXPLANATION:  We modify and draw your changes and you review your preliminary drawings. If you then make further changes; we will modify and draw a second set of preliminary drawings for your review.  If you then make further changes; we will modify and draw a third set of preliminary drawings and bill you an additional $30.00.  Our Custom Deck Design Service includes an unlimited number of preliminary drawings.

Additional Options:

NOTE:  Add $25.00 if your Porch Plan Project includes a Spa Support Area
NOTE:  Add $20.00 if your Porch Plan Project includes Screening

* Drawing time varies and may be extended during our busy season by up to 21 days.

** Decks USA reserves the right to decline, and/or not to except, any Porch Plan Modification Order.  In the event of decline: Decks USA will, in a timely fashion and manner, Refund the Full Amount of the purchase price.

** Decks USA also reserves the right to review your request for a Porch Plan Modification Order, before, during and after we have received, and reviewed, all the required information from you.  In the event of any cost difference in your Porch Plan Modification Order: Decks USA will, in a timely fashion and manner, inform you of the cost difference for accepting and completing your Porch Plan Modification Order.  You will then have the right to accept the new project price or request a  Refund for the Full Amount of the purchase price.  In the event of a Refund Request: Decks USA will, in a timely fashion and manner, Refund the Full Amount of the original purchase price.
